	This Salon in Florida was designed completely over the internet. We agreed on all the colors and the team went down to implement installation. We used stencils to create the rug and the entrance logo.

This is a great way to stain a floor to look like it is expensive inlay, or to paint a ceiling like a pro. Unlike stencils which are cut from a rigid plastic and meant to be used repetitively, Wall Praise stencils are cut from flexible, adhesive-backed vinyl and are designed for one-time use. While the adhesive material that Wall Praise stencils are cut from limits their functionality to just one-time use, it also opens up a broad range of possibilities for both design and decorative techniques compared to traditional stencils. Because the cut pattern is sandwiched between two protective layers (Release Paper and Transfer Tape), intricate designs with intertwining elements can be used. Intricate scrolls, continuous lines, large-scale patterns, and more, can be created without the necessity of breaking up the continuity of the pattern with the uncut "bridges" that are required in traditional stencil patterns.  Another exciting design option is the ability to apply the design in a positive or negative manner. At right, a pattern is being used as a resist to create the look of a wood inlay by preserving the lighter color underneath in the shape of the dmp. Darker stain has been applied to the surrounding areas and now the vinyl graphic is being removed.
